Intro to RE for Homeowners and Businesses
Do you want to know how to maximize your home's or business' renewable energy potential?
If so, then you need to attend the Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Associations Introduction to Renewable Energy workshop.
In this 16 hour workshop you'll gain an understanding of the theories and applications of RE technologies...
- Understand the 'big picture' of energy use, service and demand
- Explore the solar resource and its applications in passive, thermal, and photovoltaic energy systems
- Study wind energy systems, geothermal, energy storage, and off-grid and grid-tied systems
- The economic considerations of RE investments, including cost, rebates, incentives and Rate of Return
This workshop will include lecture, RE lab work and project site visits. This workshop is not intended to train you on how to install systems, rather to prepare you for understanding the dynamics involved with RE and how these systems could apply to homes and businesses.
