Introduction to Solar Thermal

Part of the "Efficiency Maine" effort to provide certification for solar thermal installation; a three-day class, "Introduction to Solar Thermal”, is being offered.

There are new solar thermal certification eligibility requirements:
1. Complete the three-day training course
2. Pay the $300 workshop fee
3. Pay the $35 fee to the State of Maine Treasurer to take the exam for certification
4. Pass the exam
5. Agree to and sign a Code of Ethics agreement that is modeled after the NABCEP code of ethics.

KVCC takes PO numbers, and major credit cards over the phone. If participants need to mail a check Kim will provide all the details on how to do this over the phone.

An additional $35, check made out the "State of Maine Treasurer", will be needed to take the exam for certification.
